SERYFA Update

First of all we hope that everyoune is keeping well and coping with the current situation.

This weekend would have been our SPORTSassist South East Region Cup Final weekend at Dunbar and like everyone else at the SERYFA are as disapointed as everyone else that we are unable to hold these finals or any other finals this season.

Unfortunately we have no idea when we can start the new 2020/21 season. Details about league applications etc are on website and we would like to remind teams, coaches, players and parents about the current social distancing rules. Also Teams are reminded that before you apply to SYFA for membership you must have first applied to Allan Archibald, at the Alpha Trophies League for membership, otherwise the SYFA will not accept your application form..

Its been encouraging to see videos of players and coaches on twitter @SERegionYFA  doing solo training sessions and practicing their skills. We encourage everyone to keep up the good work. We also would like to thank teams for the way they are encouraging their players to keep in touch through social media and video links. To everyone who's  finding things a wee bit difficult at the moment, please remember a team mate or coach is only a phone call away if you need a chat or would like some advice on training at home.

Coaches thanks for all your work behind the scenes and keeping in touch with all your players, we know its a difficult time for everyone so again thank you.

Finally we know some of the lockdown rules have been removed by the First Minister about meeting family members etc please remember that No Teams should be holding any training sessions or getting together for any football activities. Please keep safe and mind all the rules and hopefully we can all get back to what we love doing best PLAYING FOOTBALL

    Take care  and stay safe
