Track and Trace - Frequently asked Question And Answer

Q.    On a matchday, as the home team COVID officer should I insist on receiving all contact details for the opposition players for the purposes of Test & Protect?

A.    It is considered best practice that the Facility Operator’s COVID Coordinator receives contact details for ALL participants at the venue (both home and away teams).  In circumstances where your club hires a facility, it is adequate to ensure that every club involved in the match day activity has the contact details for their opposing team’s COVID Officer for the purposes of sharing with NHS test & protect team if required.

See Test & Protect Guidance in the Matchday Protocols on the Return to Football Hub for more information for Clubs, Officials and Facility Providers.
