Following the SFA and SPFL guidance on COVID-19, the SYFA has now updated our guidance in line with Scottish Government guidelines. This may change as the situation develops throughout the country and the SYFA will update as and when there are any changes.

All players, teams and secretarys should note that ANY PLAYER registered to play for any SERYFA team at any age group CANNOT play as a trialist for any U20's E O S Lowland League team. It is an offence and breach of SYFA rules

Some of you may be aware of the work of the Paediatrician Dr Nadine Burke- Harris on the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences ( A.C.Es) on health and well-being (physical, mental, socio-economic etc etc).
You may also be aware that, locally and nationally, there is growing, multi-disciplinary recognition of the significant impact of A.C.Es on children and on the adults they become.

Both teams have a responsibility to contact their opponents re fixture details as early as possible. if you are the away team in any Scottish. Cup tie you are also expexted to contact your opponents if you have not heard from them. Do not leave it to late to contact opponents

I understand there is an urgent need across multiple regions for more additional signatories.
In order to alleviate this pressure, I am going to alter the process for issuing signatory codes with immediate effect.
Nominated trainers will now be able to issue codes directly to their members on successful completion of training.
Please read the below steps carefully as failure to do so may result in the issue of invalid codes or the need for repeat training.
