Instructions to those clubs who will be participating in SERYFA Cup Finals
SPECTATOR ENTRY
Payment for spectator entry to all Cup Finals will be by CASH only. It is the responsibility of participating Clubs to make spectators aware of the cash only entry policy before they arrive at the venue.
UNSUPERVISED YOUTHS
Two or more youths (Under 16 years) must be accompanied by an adult. Large groups of unaccompanied youths will not be permitted entry. Face coverings should be removed.
PYROTECHNICS
No supporter should attend a match in possession of a pyro or flare. This is the sole responsibility of participating teams. Clubs are responsible for their supporters conduct as included in SYFA rules, and any breach especially concerning pyro or flares will be reported to Police Scotland. The match may be abandoned, and the relevant club will face disciplinary measures.
League Committee members in attendance have been instructed to call Police Scotland via 101 if flares are seen within the grounds or within the immediate vicinity of a venue. In circumstances where the person in possession of the flare is endangering or risking injury to others by waving it towards another person, or throwing it into the crowd, or at players/officials, it would be appropriate to call 999.
ALCOHOL
No alcohol may be brought into the venue. Consumption at the venue is only permissible if there is an appropriate alcohol licence granted in respect of any hospitality. Anyone found in possession of open alcohol bottles will be asked to leave.
CELEBRATIONS
Whilst we recognise that every winner of a cup final likes to celebrate, we must remind all teams that bottles of alcohol and non-alcohol (which cannot be defined as non-alcohol) must not be brought to any venue, either to use for celebration on the pitch area or in a dressing room. Any team not adhering to this instruction will be sanctioned by the Association.
