Wearing of face masks
It has been highlighted that there is low compliance for wearing face masks indoors by teams during matches at the weekend.
The sites that this is mostly at is Saughton, Meggetland, Jack Kane and the Pavilions.
Can you please send a reminder to all teams that they must wear face masks indoors unless exempt?

ET and Penalties
In the event of the score being level after the stipulated playing time has been completed, the result of the tie will be decided by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark. Extra time should not be played. This is a temporary change to the rules which has been made in light of the ongoing challenges around securing match venues, and extending let times.
No Club is permitted to film their fixtures without first getting the prior permission of the Region, League and opposition.

The SYFA have received various queries on the Return to Football in light of recent announcements by the First Minister.
By way of an update, we are in ongoing conversations with the SFA on this but are still awaiting further information. We will provide a comprehensive update early next week.
In the meantime, from our conversations with the SFA, if clubs want to book facilities for the 15th onwards, they can go ahead and do so.
