SERYFA SYFA Guidelines for new Season 2020/21

Assuming there is no resurgence of the virus, and in line with Government guidelines, we aim to return from the 12th of September by playing friendly matches. This will initially start with local friendly matches and will lead into competitive football returning in early October. However this is all subject to final sign off in the weeks leading up to this by the Scottish Government. ALL teams must obtain a permit to play any friendly from Allan Archibald.

Welcome to Season 2020/2021 from the SERYFA

A warm welcome to all teams competing in the SERYFA Leagues for season 2020/2021.

SYFA - Update to Registration Process

Dear All League, Club & Team Secretaries,

As you will all be aware, the SYFA is not currently processing registration forms.
Although training has resumed, it has resumed with strict controls and social distancing requirements and does not indicate that it is safe to interact at the level that signings require.
We are however, aware, of the increasing desire to get players fully registered with the SYFA and the Board has therefore made the decision to temporarily amend the registration process until it safe to resume obtaining signatures as normal.

REMINDER OF Phase 3 - Return to Football rules for training sessions

We hope everyone is keeping well and currently trying to get everything ready for when we can all start playing football again. We have been asked to remind all teams of the current Phase 3 - Return to Football Guidance rules that have been put in place which allows teams to train at theses difficult times. These rules have been put in place to allow teams to return safely to a stage where we can play games once more.
